Neighborhood Support

The Friends of Louis I. Kahn Park -- a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization -- receives all its support from donors, both neighbors and local businesses, who make possible the annual operating budget. In addition, a score of dealers participate in the fund-raising Antiques Fair; restaurants contribute their specialities for sale.

Throughout the year a cadre of volunteers keeps park costs to a minimim and builds community spirit by planting bulbs and annuals, weeding and pruning the gardens. They also take on the less glamorous tasks of cleaning the park, removing trash and maintaining the park's infrastructure.
